gordons-joint: On Friday night I went to Jamie and Alan’s flat with a whole load of Scalextric track I fished out my parent’s attic from when I was young. Unfortunately the metal conductors were really dulled, not corroded but dull enough that they all needed cleaning. We tried to clean it as best we could but without attacking it with solvents and whatnot it just didn’t make good contact with the cars so we had to abandon the huge extension out into the hall that we’d built! We still ended up with a great track layout though!
